They have honestly NEVER served me a bad piece of fish, and they aren't heavy on sauce like a lot of other Americanized sushi restaurants. I've eaten sushi at dozens of other restaurants, but Ichiban is by far my favorite, and I go there at least a few times every month. My friend Kristen and I dared each other to try raw fish and while I was put off by it at first, I found myself craving sashimi. I had my very first sushi at Ichiban 21 years ago, when I was only 17 years old.
